I don’t know if you know, but Meghan and I both really like the song “My Favorite Things” from the movie Sound of Music. So much so, that it inspires a series of posts from us every December about our favorite things about our businesses. We are flattered every time a client asks what tools we use to keep our businesses running smoothly. It is a wonderful compliment! As small business owners, we do try to avoid adding unnecessary frustration when possible. During this season of giving, please enjoy our 2018 Favorite Things posts.
First up this year is an office supply that you likely don’t think of very often. Until you run out. You comparison shop all over the place to get the best price on replacements and agonize over the decision to toss them or put in the effort to recycle the used supplies. My printer recently came to the end of its useful life. I’ll spare you the details of its last days, but it was time. I finally bought a replacement. My fav feature – the new printer will print 2-sided. Cue the bells and the choir! No more flipping the page and hitting the print button again.
But that’s not even the best part! My new printer came with the option of an Instant Ink** program. You select a monthly plan that fits your printing needs and they send you new ink cartridges before your copies come out only half printed. AND they send an envelope for you to mail in the old cartridges for recycling. So easy to set up, so easy to use, so easy to recycle. It was love at first printed page!
